The story goes that “Caribbean Rum Cake” began as an English pudding and was brought to the Islands by English settlers in the mid-seventeenth century. Rum Cake was later altered by Africans brought to the Islands through slave trade. Rum cake still lives on today! From pudding to cake, it has never been tastier.
