Want to add a little patriotic flare to your Memorial Day celebration? How about a patriotic rum cake for dessert? Try decorating Wicked Jack’s Tavern rum cakes with these fun recipes:
Patriotic Cake Balls
Ingredients
Directions
Break Wicked Jack’s Butter Rum Tavern Cake into crumbs. Mix in vanilla frosting (Mix in small amounts at a time. Goal is to have a mix that is easy to shape). Roll mix into 1-inch balls and place on wax paper lined cookie sheet and freeze for 15 minutes. Melt white Candy Melts (following directions on packaging) with a teaspoon of shortening. Dip the tip of a lollipop stick in the melted candy and stick halfway into a cake ball. Dip the cake pop into the melted candy and coat well. Add your patriotic sprinkles before the melted candy sets. Place pop in foiled-covered Styrofoam.
Red, White and Blue Cream Cheese Frosting

- Red and Blue frosting
