Love Bread Pudding? Well so do we, the Wicked Jack’s way of course! Try this delicious recipe to turn your boring bread pudding into something wicked! What’s the best part? Most of these ingredients are already stocked up in your pantry and fridge!
Wicked Jack’s Rum Cake Bread Pudding:
Ingredients
4 cups Wicked Jack’s Rum Cake cubed
3 cups milk
3 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 teaspoons ground cinnamon
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
3 tablespoons rum (to taste)
1/2 cup raisins (optional)
4 eggs, beaten
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
2. In a large saucepan, add milk, butter, vanilla, cinnamon, brown sugar,
rum and raisins and heat until warm. Simmer and stir until sugar
dissolves.
3. Into a large bowl add the cubed Wicked Jack’s Rum Cake and pour in the hot milk
mixture. Let sit for 30 minutes so the bread absorbs the milk.
4. Add the beaten eggs to the cake and milk mixture and stir. Pour bread
pudding into a buttered 1 1/2-quart baking dish and bake for 50
minutes.
